IN THE QUIET OF THE RURAL WORLD, FAR FROM THE BUSTLE OF THE CITY, RURAL TOURISM IS PERFECT FOR A FAMILY MOMENT.

The hosts of this family were born in Aldeia da Conceição. In 1986, Emília and António Loução Contreiras built the house that would not only be a home for them and their four children, but also the place for their businesses, a Bakery and a Tavern.

Today, these two areas have been converted into the social space of the house, where we can still find some objects used in those trades.

Casa da Bia has always welcomed and served this village’s locals and visitors. These are the experiences that inspire us to continue being as hospitable as our grandparents.

We have so many memories of the times spent as a family, motivating us to care for this house like our grandmother Emília did!

Thus, Casa da Bia was born from the great desire of two sisters, Sónia and Inês, to share this place from their childhoods, full of unforgettable memories, warm afternoons, starry nights, where they feel so good and which they define as their safe haven.

By sharing this, they wish to pay tribute, eternalize the experiences lived, show the best this region has to offer and contribute towards its dynamization. Stories that are still remembered today by our mother, Bia.
